Membership
The Phi Beta Alumni Association of Psi Upsilon, Inc. was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2018 to promote fellowship and the social and professional development of members of the Psi U’s Phi Beta chapter at William and Mary. The association is governed by a board of directors and executive committee comprised of Phi Beta alumni. The association also has committees to support its philanthropy, organize social events, support the undergraduate chapter, and facilitate communication with members. Membership in the association is automatically extended to William and Mary alumni who were members in good standing of the Phi Beta chapter at the time of their graduation. Honorary membership is extended by the Board to other members of the Phi Beta community who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to the chapter and association.

Steven D. McCleaf
President
Steven McCleaf is the founder of Langley Realty Partners, LLC, a real estate development and advisory company located in McLean, Virginia. Mr. McCleaf is also the Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Warfield Companies, a real estate investment and development company located in Rockville, Maryland. He is an expert in real estate development and investment, and is focused on mixed-use land development, multifamily housing, affordable housing, and historic preservation.
Mr. McCleaf has been active in numerous industry groups throughout his career. As a member of the Urban Land Institute, he served on both the Urban Development/Mixed-Use Council and Multifamily Council. He is also a member of Maryland Building Industry Association and serves on its Legislative Committee.
Mr. McCleaf received a BBA from the College of William and Mary and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He credits his affiliation with the Phi Beta Chapter of Psi Upsilon with teaching him the importance of developing and nurturing lasting male friendships to maintaining one’s emotional and social well-being. Indeed, the most reliable and lasting relationships he developed in life were forged as an undergraduate member of the Phi Beta.

Christian Klein
Vice President
Christian A. Klein is a managing partner at the law firm of Obadal, Filler, MacLeod & Klein, where he has directed the firm’s policy advocacy practice for more than 20 years. Klein has dedicated his career to representing trade associations in the legislative and regulatory processes and to providing them with government affairs, antitrust, and corporate counsel services.
In his current capacity as executive vice president of the Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA), the trade association for the global aviation maintenance industry, Christian has been a leading voice in efforts to focus government, industry, and media attention on the aviation workforce crisis and shortcomings in the Federal Aviation Administration’s safety oversight. He also manages ARSA’s international engagement, industry relationships, economic research, and member surveying. He is a member of the Transportation Security Administration’s Aviation Security Advisory Committee and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency Maintenance Activity Group.
He worked in various government affairs capacities for Associated Equipment Distributors for 20 years, including as the association’s first vice president of government affairs, as well as with the National Stone, Sand, and Gravel Association and American Concrete Pressure Pipe Association. Christian was also a member of the University of Virginia’s adjunct faculty for 15 years, teaching courses in political public relations, public relations law and ethics, and writing.
He earned his bachelor’s degree with honors (international relations) from the College of William and Mary, law and master’s degrees (congressional politics) from the Catholic University of America, and a post graduate certificate (public relations) from the University of Virginia. During his time at William & May, Christian was a brother of the Phi Beta Chapter of Psi Upsilon Fraternity, serving as vice president and pledge educator. He also served as news director of WCWM and as an editor of The Flat Hat student newspaper. Christian is president of William & Mary’s Public Policy AdvisoryBoard and vice president of the Phi Beta Alumni Association of Psi Upsilon. In his free time, he produces and acts in independent films.

David Weaving
Treasurer
Weaving graduated from the alma mater of a nation in 1988 with a BBA in Accounting. He is currently a small business owner as the first franchisee of StretchLab. Weaving retired from a corporate career, most recently as Chief Administrative Officer of Realogy (now Anywhere). Prior to that he was SVP & CFO of the Real Estate Division of Cendant (which spun off Realogy).
Weaving lives in northern New Jersey with his wife Heather and their black Labrador, Boo Radley. They have 4 adult daughters and enjoy traveling.

Joshua Rogers
Secretary
Joshua Rogers is currently a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C. While at the College of William & Mary, he studied Government and Data Science and served as the Vice President of the Phi Beta Chapter of Psi Upsilon.
Mr. Rogers credits his professional development, as well as many lifelong friendships, to Psi Upsilon. He believes that the Phi Beta chapter creates many avenues for both its undergraduates and alumni, whether on campus, professionally, or socially.

Brandon Aheimer
Assistant Secretary
Brandon Aheimer works as a Software Development Engineer in Dallas, TX. He graduated from William & Mary in 2024, where he majored in computer science and mathematics. He fondly remembers his time serving as Vice President for the Phi Beta chapter of Psi Upsilon, where he grew as a leader and forged friendships he cherishes today.

Greg Hospodor
Director
Gregory S. Hospodor, PhD, is a founding member of the Phi Beta chapter of Psi Upsilon. After brief service in the Marine Corps, he worked for Bank of America before embarking on a career as a historian. He holds a PhD from Louisiana State University, MA from the University of Mississippi, and BA from the College of William and Mary, all in History. After teaching at LSU and Delta State University, Greg joined the military history faculty at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. Currently, he serves as U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command’s Chief of Military History Education and Curriculum. He has published widely on an eclectic range of military history topics and engaged the public in venues such as the History Channel and CSPAN as well as through frequent lectures and podcasts.
Being a Psi U brother dramatically influenced (and continues to influence) his life, teaching him, among many other things, how to be a positive and constructive influence in his community, how to respect individualism while working toward common goals, and how balance hard work with, yes, fun.

Brighten Meade
Director
Brighten Meade is a dedicated management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, based in Washington, D.C., where he specializes in delivering strategic solutions for public sector clients. A proud alumnus of the College of William & Mary, Brighten earned his B.A. in Government with a minor in Classical Studies.
During his undergraduate years, Brighten played a pivotal role in establishing the Phi Beta Owl Club at William & Mary, serving as its inaugural Archon. He was initiated into the Phi Beta chapter of Psi Upsilon in Spring 2021. His commitment to the fraternity continues as he serves on the board of the Phi Beta Alumni Association and contributes to Psi Upsilon’s Expansion and Growth Committee.
Brighten's professional journey reflects his passion for civic engagement and strategic development. At Booz Allen Hamilton, he collaborates with government agencies to enhance operational efficiency and policy implementation.
In his free time, Brighten remains actively involved in alumni initiatives and mentorship programs, fostering connections between current students and alumni.

Terence Mandable
Director
Terence Mandable retired from a 30 year management and IT consulting career spanning both the public and commercial sectors. His broad consulting experience started at Accenture and culminated as a Senior Vice President in Booz Allen’s Citizen and Economic Services practice with a focus on modernizing services across the federal civilian sector. He has been certified as a Scaled Agilist, holds both Program and Project Management certifications and a variety of Change Management certifications including the Change Management Advanced Practitioner certification from Georgetown University. He has served as a guest lecturer at both Georgetown and William & Mary.
Terence graduated from William & Mary with a B.A. in International Relations and from American University with a M.A. in International Affairs focusing on International Political Economy. He currently is “enjoying life” focus on travel, friends and family and a lengthy to-do list.
Serving on the Psi U Phi Beta Alumni Board has allowed him to give back to an organization that had true impact on his college experience, by helping undergrads transition from college to careers and reconnecting alumni through charter day and homecoming events.
